Our Story

From a Backyard Speaker to a Full-Blown Disco

It began, as all the best things do, with a single overworked speaker and a string of fairy lights. A few friends, a stack of vinyl, and a driveway that briefly became the most popular postcode in town. Word travelled fast, and within a year we’d outgrown the driveway, the garage, and eventually the goodwill of the neighbours.

Today Disco Dingo occupies a converted warehouse with a proper sprung dance floor, a lighting rig that would make a planetarium jealous, and a sound system tuned specifically to make basslines feel like a hug. The fairy lights are still here, tucked into a corner, as a reminder of where it all started.

Opening Hours & House Rules

  • Thursday: 8pm – 1am (Motown & Soul night)
  • Friday: 9pm – 3am (Disco & Funk)
  • Saturday: 9pm – 3am (Anything Goes)
  • Sunday: 4pm – 9pm (Family Roller-Disco Matinee)

House rules are simple: dance like nobody’s watching, buy the DJ a drink if you love the set, and please don’t try to out-glitter Disco Dingo himself. It has been attempted. It has never gone well.
